My dream is simple and so pure
I see it every night.
For my future lies in it I'm sure
for heaven is my sight.

I dream of a woman so fair with sin
a rose with many a thorn.
So beautiful with one prick of her pin
My heart forever torn.

I dream a dream of a thousand dawns
still there is sunrise every Morn.
Everyday it seems more broken bonds

I dream of her and her sweet grace,
her beauty such a sight.
