I often wonder what love is. Though recently I have been thinking about it more often due to interesting circumstances. I'll try my best to describe what I think it is derived from my personal experiences.
LOVE
It's when you know someone. Not just as a friend or acquaintance, but when you know everything about them. All of their bad habits, quirks, fears, interests, and faults. Then you take all of that and just accept it. Take every skeleton in their closet and just hold on to them as if it belongs there with that person.
Its when a day goes by and the first thought on your mind is that person. Not in a sexual or demeaning way, but having conviction for that person.
Whether or not they are okay and smiling or hurting or sad or even frustrated, and no matter how they are feeling even if it is an ill feeling toward yourself you want to rush to them and make it better.
When it makes you sad not to be able to be near that person because they had to go away for the weekend or on a vacation with their family.
Its the smile when you see that person even though you just went to work and were only gone a few hours.
Its when they aren't happy, when they aren't happy and you let them go so they can find it even when you know you gave it your all.
Love... Love is true sacrifice for the sake of the other individual even when you don't receive it in return. Its the best and worst part of life and you do everything to make the worse parts easy for them. Its holding that person high above all else and being there to catch them if they fall...
Love is being a friend. Love is being honest. Love is being real. Its being unconditional for them even when its not for you.
Love is triumph and failure, glory and misery, and the ability to care more for another than you do yourself.

There are things you will learn in life. With that said here is what I know... There are going to be times when there will be sudden and drastic changes that will throw you where you least expect it too, there will be people who you think you know so well who will change in the blink of an eye and you wont recognize them, you will feel lonely and confused, you will feel like it cant get any better, you will make and lose friends, there will be memories that can NEVER be replaced, and there will be people you will always miss. There is nothing better than life, because life is experience. Bad choices, great choices, mistakes, and achievements.
I screwed up 99% of my high school career
[x] Gotten detention.
[x] Gotten your phone taken away
[x] Gotten in school suspension
[x] Got sent to the principal's office.
[x] Chewed gum during class.
[x] Gotten more than 8 tardies.
[x] Didn't do homework over 3 times.
[x] Turned at least 3 projects in late.
[x] Missed school cause you felt like it
[x] talked too much and got kicked out of class.
[x] Got your mom/dad etc. to get you out of school.
[x] Text people during class.
[x] Passed notes.
[x] Threw stuff across the room.
[x] Laughed at the teacher.
[ ] Pulled down the fire alarm.
[x] myspace, youtube, friendster, deviantart, xanga, etc. on the computer at school.
The Beginning
I wrote this joke, I heard a different one that made me think of this enjoy.
When Kane and Abel became old enough their father Adam decided he was going to start teaching them about life. To fill the void of an empty heart
One must first learn to breath

Then walk away from where you lay
Leaving all time behind
Push further on and hold the world
In the palm of an open mind
You'll find your place amongst the realm
On the shard of a broken stream
And watch the world drift away
like the memory of a broken dream
